Overview
KHHS Guitar Ensemble is an all-inclusive multilevel guitar ensemble, formed in 2021 for our band programs enthusiastic guitarists.
Students work together to cover rock and pop songs from across the decades in unique arrangements. The group provides a valuable opportunity for young guitarists to play with like-minded musicians in a fun and challenging environment.
KHHS Guitar ensemble perform whenever they can at school events and concerts and festivals around the Northern Beaches, last year’s highlight being the Manly Jazz Festival!
Conductor Dave Wooltorton holds a Master’s in music (MMus), has been teaching guitar for over 15 years and runs a successful tutoring business at DW Academy. He plays with fusion group The Cosmic Xpress and The Village Big Band.
