Overview

It’s “social music” - Eamon Dilworth’s Crawfish Po’Boys brings people together from young & old. Inspired by the musical melting pot of the music of New Orleans the shows are all about breaking down the fourth wall and inviting the audience to participate both in song & dance.
There’s hints of blues, jazz & soul with the odd tip of the hat to Dr John & Preservation hall. Really, it’s an all inclusive affair bound to leave you smiling a little bigger than when you walked in.

Dilworth is well-known as a formidable trumpeter and built his career as a performer, recording artist and arranger of music in a multitude of other genres. He has extensively toured with Ed Kuepper/The Aints, Tijuana cartel, Caravana Sun & Hot Potato Band as well as performed with Ásgeir, Guy Sebastian, Jessica Mauboy and Nigel Kennedy among others.
Notable performances:
Woodford Folk Festival
Manly Jazz Festival
Blues on Broadbeach Festival
Bluesfest Bellingen (Federal Hotel)
Kiama Jazz Festival
Regular performances across Australia & New Zealand

Reviews

“So refreshing to hear the infectious vibes of New Orleans music infused with the grimier sides of swagger 50s roots coming out of Aus. Makes for potent and addictive love medicine!" - Nathan Cavaleri

“Exquisite... in reaching into himself and Finding ways to express what he finds there in music, he has found a voice at once entirely individual and yet, universal." - John Hardaker

“The music was sensational & the connection & rapport you built with the audience was just amazing, so much fun! You got the whole bar rocking, laughing & singing along – even me, & I never, ever sing in public!! Speaking for myself, I can honestly say that was the best night out I’ve had for ages – & I go out a LOT!” - Caroline Buckingham (Owner/Licensee Butchers Brew Bar)
